NBL Saturday

Going against the conventional wisdom on tonight's game with Wildcats at 36ers. Yes the Wildcats are playing back to back defeating the Dragons (my pick last night) on the first leg and now they are at the Dome. Not only is this back to back road game, but also 36ers revenge spot getting whipped in their first meeting 119-84 at Perth. So why are the Sixers +3.5 home dogs? Because their weapons are limited and they are giving up the inside. The Books are thinking they are going to lose at home and I think the Cats will be too much. Sixers are desperate to win one, but sometimes that desperation will play against them. Taking the top ranking Wildcats to surge in the second half to pull away and put this to rest. Cats are ready today as the starters got quite of bit of rest in last night's game with the reserves getting more minutes than usual. WILDCATS -3.5(L)

NBL Saturday

The late show with NBL. Half past midnight the ball will tip off at Brisbane Convention Center and this is revenge for the high flying Bullets playing against the Sydney Kings. Like the NBA Suns, Nuggets and Warriors, the Bullets are run & gun open court transition team playing in tip top form. Averaging league high 118+ points, climbing higher in recent games, they are blowing away the opponents. Sydney took the early game when Bullets looked nothing like now and tonight in Brisbane the basketball will rain down crushing the Kings. Brisbane Bullets -11.5(L) ---------------------------------------------------- Perth Wildcats at South Dragons. Cats are the better team, but last time they met at Vodafone Arena (South Dragons home) Dragons had the win in their hands and let it slip away. They come into this game after taking a embarrassing -32 point loss to the Brisbane Bullets as a +1 home dog. Speculation is a very tight game. Go with the home dog on a revenge match at home. South D...

NBL Friday

Looks like a grindem out type of game coming up Kings vs Tigers at at AIS Arena in a neutral venue. Believe me 198 is a low total in NBL and although this match can easily end in the 90's I'll be playing the side. Tiger in dominating form Kings will be in trouble tonight (or this morning if your in the States). This game will tip off half past midnight PST. TIGERS -3.5 at -106 for 1 unit(W) Told ya, grindem out game. Am I doing better with NBL than NBA?

Euroleague Basketball coming to you past Midnight

Taking a look at Euroleague Basketball match wish CSKA Moscow vs Winterthur FCB. Game Preview: First place in Group C will be on the line Wednesday when reigning Euroleague champion CSKA Moscow hosts Winterthur FCB Barcelona in the Russian capital. Winterthur, one of two remaining undefeated teams in the Euroleague this season, topped Fenerbahce Ulker at home 84-70 last week as league-leading scorer Juan Carlos Navarro had 19 points. CSKA routed Zalgiris in Kaunas 59-78 as Trajan Langdon and Matjaz Smodis scored 15 each. The game will see some old teammates reunited, as Langdon and Barcelona center Denis Marconato were teammates under CSKA coach Ettore Messina on the Benetton Treviso squad that lost to Barcelona in the 2003 title game. Barca big man Michail Kakiouzis and CSKA's David Andersen and David Vanterpool were all teammates on Montepaschi Siena's 2004 Final Four team. Smodis and Thomas Van Den Spiegel played also played at the 2004 Final Four alongside Barca's Gianl...
